Label I Love: BODKIN

This Brooklyn based design label has caught my eye for all the right reasons. Bodkin manages to create chic wearable clothing using eco friendly, sustainable fabrics. A union rarely done with such style! I can not say enough about the sharp architectural style lines and modern design details!! My favorite piece is the gray dress with panels of overlapping fabric....and the cropped jumper with matching pants....and the cream dress with delicate pleating...I cant choose just one!!!!

 I literally stopped dead in my tracks when I walked past Gregg Wolf's workshop on 9th street and saw this fly cuff in the window.  It turns out that this cuff also happens to be an ashtray (when you turn the flies wings back) designed for Harajuku girls so they can flick their ash into their bracelets in order to avoid hefty fines on the streets of Japan...pure genius!!!
