A stop at Magnolia Bakery is a definite must for any fashionista browsing the boutiques of Bleeker Street.

Evolution, located on Spring Street in Manhattans Soho district, is a treasure trove of curiosities! There is so much to look at, from meteorites and fossil shark teeth to jewel beetle earrings and bangles. And everything is for sale! I picked myself up a little vile filled with jewel beetle wing covers as a souvenir. A wonderful shop with so much to look at, and quirky stylish sales clerks to top it all off!!

With Phoebe Philo holding the reigns, Celine has well and truly burst back onto the scene and become the label on everyone's lips. Philo's understanding of what the modern woman wants and her ability to develop that into a timeless, investment collection is astounding. I spotted this pair at Chelsea Flea Market while the lady was trying on a pair of fabulous vintage gold strappy sandals. I sincerely hope she bought them because if she didn't then I will!!!

Such great style! What can I say...I just love it.

Ok, lets not kid ourselves, there really is no competition!! But if, like me, you don't have a cool $1400 to drop on the divine Givenchy striped blazer, then the Zara one aint that bad.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Lynn Yaeger today. She has been such a hugely influential voice in the world of fashion for more than 30 years & she was genuinely lovely and down to earth.

Three years on and I still wish I had gotten my hands on a piece from this collection, preferably one of the incredible blazers! I remember they sold out in work before they even hit the floor. I also adored the chunky tube scarves, jodphur style trousers and towering sci-fi heels.  Another stunning collection by the genius that is Nicolas Ghesquière, timeless and tailored to perfection.
