My Fashion Diary: First installment






I have been keeping fashion diaries for several years now and I would highly recommend anyone interested in fashion to do this! Mine are filled with clippings, photographs, fabric samples, sketches and anything that I want to look at over & over!!!! As a designer, I am constantly looking at the world around me for ideas and whenever I am in need of some extra inspiration all I have to do is flick through these diaries and it immediately sparks my imagination. This is the first installment of my fashion diary but there will be lots more to come!! I hope you enjoy :)

 I literally stopped dead in my tracks when I walked past Gregg Wolf's workshop on 9th street and saw this fly cuff in the window.  It turns out that this cuff also happens to be an ashtray (when you turn the flies wings back) designed for Harajuku girls so they can flick their ash into their bracelets in order to avoid hefty fines on the streets of Japan...pure genius!!!
