THE BEAUTIFUL STREETS

It was fun while it lasted!

I decided that when I moved to New York i would allow myself a little treat...anytime I come across reasonably priced jewelry that I like, Im allowed to buy it!!! I just figured, how often will I get to collect incredible New York Jewelry!!! So here are my finds so far: The gold leaf necklace at top was purchased at Chelsea Flea Market the first week I arrived. The Rocking Horse necklace was purchased in a small shop on Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn. The Human Heart necklace was bought in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in a gorgeous small boutique called Old Hollywood and the long silver ring was bought off a street vendor in Soho.

This Brooklyn based design label has caught my eye for all the right reasons. Bodkin manages to create chic wearable clothing using eco friendly, sustainable fabrics. A union rarely done with such style! I can not say enough about the sharp architectural style lines and modern design details!! My favorite piece is the gray dress with panels of overlapping fabric....and the cropped jumper with matching pants....and the cream dress with delicate pleating...I cant choose just one!!!! www.bodkin.us/
